Built in 1820, The Lake Hotel is a traditional, family run property set on the shores of Killarney's National Park Lake overlooking the castle. This four floor hotel features 125 traditionally decorated guestrooms characterised by old world charm and classic furnishings, all of which include satellite television, direct dial phones, dial up Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and trouser presses. Bathrooms have bathrobes, slippers and complementary toiletries.

There are both train and bus services to Killarney from Cork. A taxi can be arranged from Killarney. A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost approximately 95 EUR. The centre of Killarney is two kilometres from the hotel. Due to the countryside location of this hotel a hire car would be recommended to explore the surrounding area.
Driving directions: From the airport take the N22 road toward Killarney. The Lake Hotel is located on the Muckross Road by the lakeside.
