Location. The Hotel Lido is a modern hotel located on the Estoril coast beside the largest casino in Europe; there are golfing opportunities within two kilometres, Tamariz Beach is 300 metres away and Lisbon is 18 kilometres away. Lisbon Airport is 20 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun beds and served by a poolside snack bar. Room service is available and practical amenities at the property include currency exchange, laundry facilities and safe deposit boxes. Those arriving by car will find complimentary car parking at the front of the hotel.
There are two golf courses within two kilometres of the hotel, one with 16 holes, the other with eight.
Guestrooms. Hotel Lido offers 62 air conditioned guestrooms located on six floors, all of which have simple modern decor and include cable television, direct dial phones, hair dryers, safes and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. The historic town of Sintra is ten kilometres from the hotel and offers many attractions for visitors including a toy museum, modern art museum and the 14th century Palacio Real.

Getting there. The Carris AeroBus number 91 departs every 20 minutes to the city centre and to the Cais do Sodr� railway station (journey time is about 20 minutes). Tickets can be purchased on board. There is a scheduled train service between Lisbon and Estoril with the journey taking approximately 30 minutes. There is also a shuttle bus from the airport directly to the town of Estoril. The town of Estoril is well served by local bus services and the train can be taken to Sintra and Lisbon. A hire car would be useful for trips further afield.
Driving directions. From the airport Take the A5 motorway and then follow the signs for Estoril. The hotel is clearly visible adjacent to the casino.
