The Dorisol Estrelicia is a modern resort with a pink and white fa�ade, situated 300 metres from the beach and overlooking Funchal bay on the island of Madeira. This 11 storey hotel features 148 studios, all of which include a modern decor with light wood furnishings. All rooms are equipped with work desks with Internet connections, cable television, direct dial phones, refrigerators and minibars. Bathrooms include handheld showers, bidets, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. The Mamma Mia Restaurant serves Italian specialities in a bright, informal setting. The hotel features an outdoor pool, complete with terraces with sun loungers and a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks, and an indoor heated pool. Those seeking a workout can visit state of the art gymnasium, and then wind down in the sauna and jetted tub. Every night, guests can enjoy dance, live music and comedy, either in the piano bar or next to the pool. The hotel offers facilities for darts, billiards, tennis, football, aerobics, mini bowls, shuffleboard, petanque, mini golf, bingo and Portuguese lessons. Younger guests can visit the kids' pool or play table tennis in the games room. A complimentary shuttle bus services the city centre several times a day, souvenirs are available in the gift shop and free onsite parking is provided. A promenade and lido swimming complex are both 500 metres from the hotel, and the Madeira Wine Company is two kilometres away. Funchal Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel andcan be reached by car in 25 minutes.

There is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the airport. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs approximately 30 EUR.
Driving directions: From the airport, head for Funchal, exit Hospital/Funchal, then head for Camara de Lobos and cross the bridge, pass the traffic lights and turn right and then left, and the hotel is on the right.
